We are very to guide you a bit around !

Our aim is to provide a different experience to anything you probably had before in Mauritius....
A family owned guest house located outside the most touristic areas, somehow secluded for you to enjoy quietness and peace of mind while being within 10 minutes drive from most facilities and less than 10 minutes from the airport.
​
Located in the village of Carreau Acacia, our house is located on the family farm which is surrounded by sugar cane fields.
Our family grows fruits and veggies for our own use and even have fresh eggs from our small poultry.
Each family that share our property has dogs and so do we !
Our dogs run freely around our place because they are very human friendly and crave for cuddles event if they bark as welcome.

Our guest house has 4 rooms of which 1 family, 1 triple and 2 double can host up to 10 guests in total.
Each room has its private shower room and w.c and have an outdoor space.

Diners and breakfasts are served on our home's verandah.
The pool, garden and pool house are available to all our guests at any time.
Understand that we mean it when we say "Feel at home".

We are simple and easy going people sharing our living style and share our tips on the most secluded yet beautiful places to visit around.

Beach side
A 1 km walk will lead to Le Bouchon, pittoresque fishermen village located along the sea.
Another 3kms further, enjoy the beautiful beach of La Cambuse for a nice swim.
The Natural Bridge
Shaped by the sea into the cliff, the Natural Bridge is located 2 kms from Gite des Acacias. Relaxing and breathtaking view over the ocean.
Accessible by car drive or walk.
Exploring Mahebourg
Mahebourg hosts a local market every Monday where one can enjoy the Mauritian living style and buy souvenirs, taste delicious street foods and visit historical monuments and unique places like the traditional biscuit factory.
Extend the local experience by taking a public bus ride from our village to Mahebourg.
The wild south
20 kms of unspoiled cliffs, lagoons and beaches.
No amenities on the way or in the vicinity.
Getting to these spots mean you will either need a car, a scooter or be ready to walk a bit into the sugar cane fields.

Ile aux Aigrettes
Managed by the Mauritius Wildlife Foundation, Ile aux Aigrettes organizes guided tours to discover the endangered species of Mauritius and explain their work to protect them.
Boat trips
We organize boat trips upon request. Either to Ile aux Cerfs with a catamaran or the Old Light House island in a traditional boat, enjoy a full day tour in the largest lagoon of Mauritius.
